The Financial Aid Process at New York Career Institute

If you’re stuck in a dead-end job and looking for a lucrative career, post-secondary education is your key to the life you’ve always wanted. Financial aid is available to all students who are enrolled in an eligible career training program at the New York Career Institute .

Financial aid includes grant programs (awarded upon financial need and merit) and loans (available to all students regardless of the student’s financial situation).

The first step is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The information contained in this document allows NYCI to calculate the amount of student aid you are eligible to receive.

Once your FAFSA is complete, visit the NYCI campus to speak with a financial aid advisor to discuss the timing of your aid payments, explain billing and payment procedures, and advise you about alternative financing sources to pay for your career training.
